This week brought sadness and joy.

My brother-in-law passed away unexpectedly this week.  Saying that out loud or putting it in writing  just seems so wrong.  It shouldn't have happened to someone so young, but it did.  Our once big family lost another member.  Life is strange and gets stranger the older I become. We will hold his calling hours early in the week, that tradition is my least favorite rite of passage.  Later in the week we will bury him up in the family area of the cemetery.  We'll say our good byes.

 
On to the joyous part of the week....

On to a lighter note...  Russ, Lisa and Aliza moved into their beautifully large new home this week, adding some joy to the very sad week.  Their new home is clean and bright.  The spaces are large and ready for their family to fill with love and laughter!!  That love and laughter has already begun to fill the spaces.  Aliza moved right into her new room without any hesitation.  She helped to unpack the boxes and christened her new PLAYROOM!  She now has a huge new space just for fun! We've already shared a wonderful meal in the new dining room and danced in the new living room!
