Now there are THREE!!
Emma Rose -was born on June 6, 2011- Weighing 6 # 13 oz-- 20 1/2 inches in length.
She came into the world in a big hurry and with a very loud voice! She had been threatening an early arrival for some time. She came two weeks early. I don't know how Lisa managed to hold her off for as long as she did. Hummm... Emma might be telling us something about her way of doing things already.
Lisa called at around 11:20 PM on Monday night, to say that her water had broken and they were heading into the hospital. We were still up, but just getting into bed, so we quickly dressed and left the house hurrying to the hospital.
It is a well known fact that Lisa gets right to business when she arrives at a hospital to give birth.
And she was ALL BUSINESS on Monday! At 12:59 AM - Emma entered the world loudly, very pink and very awake!
It was thrilling to be there as her life began. We had missed Aliza's arrival by a few hours. We were in the waiting room, pacing as we waited for Trevor to arrive.
The joy of being right there for the moment of life's new beginnings is indescribable!
Aliza was the very first! Next came our Trevor! Here is Emma! Now there are three!!
What a wonderful life..... sigh....
