The Magical Weekend of the 40 th Anniversary Dinner Party

 There are often times in my life when I find myself at a loss for words.  Last weekends family get together made for one of those lifetime moments for me.  It  happened when the unfolding events, the people in my life,  all came together to make very magical moments and memories. Our kids surprised me (us) and did something that just didn't make me smile with the delight of it happening, it was so much more.  I may never be able to  put the words in order to define those thoughts and memories that flooded my heart and mind, but the memory of it all makes me smile and cry.

Our kids planned and provided us with just that, on this winter weekend.  The time spent with all of the grand kids together...was the frosting on our cake, but knowing that they put it all together just for us was priceless and unforgettable. The weekend was truly,  exactly what makes US happy and they knew it...

The weekend culminated with an intimate dinner party with our loving, grown children and included our dearest friends/ cousins Lynn and Lee. We celebrated our 40 th Wedding Anniversary with them in style and comfort with a catered dinner by-Ben!!!  He presented course after course of delicious foods! We had Champagne, wines, desserts and laughter! My words will never be able to capture the joy of that evening....
