It seems like it's been forever since we've gotten a phone call with good news. Today we finally got that call! It wasn't easy to get the information that we wanted, but that's another story. (Don't you think that a person should have the ability to access their own medical information when they want to?That is, without a doctors intervention or permission)
The bone biopsy that was threatening to again change the course of our lives, was done on Monday. A bone scan done a week before had looked suspiciously abnormal. Today is Wednesday and we were nervously waiting for the results to be called to our home. So we waited all day!! (You might think that a doctor would learn from experience or know from being human, that someone might be anxious to hear the results that could potentially change their life.)
The results of the biopsy showed the bone to be free of metastatic disease. YAHOO!!! There is suddenly a possibility that life may begin to slow down. The possibilities of joy and fun may be returning! Summer may actually be relaxing and pleasant to share time with other people and not constantly be thinking of what might be coming next. Smiles may be returning more often! More life to live!!!

YEAH! What a time you two have been having. Now you can finally take a deep breath and relax and celebrate :)
Wow that must be such a relief. Now it's time to relax and plan for a future again. Congrats to your family and your husband.
