Aliza Says....

Autumn is really settling in early this year. Even though we haven't yet turned the clocks back, the days seem darker and shorter. The leaves have lost their color. Unlike the past few years the leaves have been falling for weeks. The last few years the weather was warm well into November and we had leaves coming down through Christmas making leaf clean up a long tedious ordeal. We haven't had a hard frost in our area yet and the geraniums are still blooming in the back yard pots. It seems a bit confusing some days, but I enjoy seeing the flowers!

Fake Thanksgiving is coming up soon... two more weeks! That is my favorite Holiday because it has no set rules! We just have fun- we all get together and just relax and have fun.

This weekend Beth came home to Connecticut. Little Aliza brought her parents early in the day on Saturday to play and to stay for dinner later in the afternoon. It was a rainy day but no one seemed to mind. We had all of the toys out for everyone to share. I don't know who had more fun... Beth or Aliza?? Aliza quickly learned how to say "BeTHHH" very clearly. Sadly, we all missed having Scott here. He was off having an adventure with his brother in London. I'm happy to report that they had a great time and he arrived back home safely! We will get to share some time with him soon at Fake Thanksgiving.
