The Lutz Museum

From the farm to the table.

We've found a great place to be a toddler!
Exploring and playing at the Lutz Museum in Manchester provides hours of fun with Aliza.
Everything is kid friendly and hands on.
There is a farm with a "squirting cow", pig pens, a horse to ride and a hay loft filled with books and pillows.
There is a a market to gather your food to take into the kitchen to cook.
A real boat for fishing and a yellow submarine to explore the undersea treasures are in a room filled with laughing kids.
There is a working model train set that chugs around the tracks through cities and countrysides.
The ongoing learning center showcases many live animals. The star is Chuckles the Ground Hog who had her big day yesterday, February 2, Ground Hogs Day. I guess she's decided that there will be 6 more weeks of winter for us. :o( Down that hallway we visit the animals and learn how they live and what they eat.
We used to take her Dad there when he was her age and it was always fun. It has changed so much over the years and has evolved into a first class learning center.
Still-- so much FUN!!!
