Great news...my husband has PNEUMONIA!

Ordinarily the diagnosis of a long standing pneumonia would not be a reason for celebration, but today it is!  Four weeks after the "thud", taking a strong antibiotic and waiting, waiting and waiting...  yesterday finally came.  Revisiting Dana-Farber in Boston,  repeating PET/CT Scanning and a  l....o...n...g  overnight wait for the results, the verdict came in.  The scans show a resolving left lobe pneumonia.  YAHOO!!!
