This week was filled with emotional ups and downs.
How could we be old enough to be celebrating the 33 rd birthday of our first born?
You never listen to people when they tell you how fast time goes by, especially when you are young. It actually goes at "light speed". My advise, to anyone who might care what I think, is to savor each moment of everyday, the good ones and the bad ones, as if they might be your last. Everyday has its importance in the grand scheme that is your life.
The CAT Scan days make us sweat and shake. But the outcome is a peace of mind that nothing is hiding or lurking in the darkness waiting to strike. This time the Scans were ALL CLEAR. No pneumonia's or false reading, just clear! As Aliza often says with great cheer, "YAHOO-YAHOO!!"
Our first born turned 33! That was fast! He has a wonderful life. He's an adult who is loved by a beautiful wife and a gloriously cute little daughter. He's not our baby anymore, but he will always be our first born, our first step into adulthood.
As if our son's birthday wasn't evidence enough of our rapid aging, our baby is having a baby. Her little baby bump is growing everyday. She shared the first look with us, we saw the ultrasound pictures of "Nugget" and he/she is perfect already! How can our baby have a baby? It will be such a wonderful new life experience for all of us. Especially the new family that is being made and for our little family that is growing to include more love.
Life is good! It has it's joys and sorrows. Not everything is the way we wish it would be and somethings are better than we could ever have imagined.
