Christmas 2008 has come and gone. As always, the frenzied preparation is all worth it when you finally get to share the day with the people that you love the most. It really wasn't about the gifts for me this year, although they were so fun. For me it was about being together as a family... really being together and just "being OUR family" for a few hours. Aliza was the icing on the cake. She's just so darned cute! 
On into 2009 we all go, hopeful that life will be gentle and good to us all. Aliza will grow everyday, life's patterns will move forward in predictable ways and new things will happen that will excite us. I resolve to be balanced and to enjoy each new day of this new year.
