It was a spectacular day!
The weather was New England picture perfect. I'm not very religious, but it may be that my many hours of praying for good weather had paid off. We had a bright sunny day, with a high tide and a cool breeze.
It has been several years since we've had an opportunity to host a party for all of our friends and family. A new baby is coming.... It 's perfect timing.

A Big thank you goes out to my family for all of their help- Thanks to Dad- who paid my bills without complaining, trimmed trees, and hauled boxes- to Lisa who gathered all of the decorations-well done!! organized the painting of the onsies and guessing the poopy diaper games-to Russ -thanks for the music, for being a good sport about your diaper race game and the yummy breakfast frittata... and to Aliza for being super cute-

A day with a party for Beth and Scott-- to welcome their new baby. A gift of new life. The day would also be an opportunity to celebrate the gift of life still to be lived. Sharing the joy of a new baby arriving turned out to be a gift to all of us... pure JOY
