| Light filled space near water. |
My hope is to find a nice, clean, safe apartment or condo that we can feel comfortable in, we might have some fun in and best of all it will be a spot nearer to our daughter and son-in-law.
I looked at so many my head was spinning. Each one had a few great features.
These are pictures of the two finalists.
It's been a long time since I've done anything like this. It was fun and confusing.

| Funky decor and great LOCATION! |
For the most part, all of the places that I looked at were clean and filled with light. I saw around eight or ten. Some that I looked at were listed on Craigslist, the others were with listed by a realtor.
We're hoping to rent a space to share with family and friends so that there is an easy, comfortable place to stay to help and visit with the new family. So I'm guessing that we'll need two bedrooms and two bathrooms??
It's down to two units now. One has a great open space and terrific views of the water. It has a boat load of amenities including a pool for next summer and dock space if you want any, green lawns and a two car garage. Drawback here... not a great walking area, maybe a bit on the "sketchy" side for night time walking? It's a bit far from down town where all of the food and fun is.
The other condo is a little weird in it's set up. The interior is a very dated early 1980's style. The location makes up for all of the bad taste inside. It's set back from the road in the middle of the cutest, artsiest little town, within walking distance to everything that you could want and more, great restaurants, a library, cute shops, ice cream, the train to Boston. (Dunkin Donuts coffee- too) It is steps from the most gorgeous beaches on the planet! No views, no garages, weird zoning. But it does have two large bedrooms, a working fireplace and the best restaurant on the North Shore across from the driveway entrance. Which one should we choose?
I have lots more to do to get this finalized and it could turn out to be either of these or none! I'm going to go for the ARTSY town house near the fun filled town. It's very complicated (of course) and there are hoops to be jumped through still. A... "House Hunters" adventure.
But just the thought of the adventure-- of discovering a new town and having some fun in a place that we have never lived in, is getting us pretty worked up! For instance...taking the train into Boston for the day or evening! How fun!!! Walking to a gorgeous beach... even in the fall or winter is taking my breath away just to think of it!
Being a few minutes from our daughter and son-in-law and a new grand child. Near enough to be apart of it's little life. Priceless!!!
