This is the day that we met our daughter-in law

This is one of my favorite pictures. The tiny girl in the front row, bottom left, is my daughter-in law. This picture was taken on the day that we all met her. What a brave soul! She is the apple of my son's eye, the light of his life. We all knew that she was -the one -right away. He was in LOVE!!! She moved cautiously into our lives with her quiet ways and a bright smile. This ballerina has the poise and elegance that most women envy and few attain. She has a contagious confidence that is felt by everyone who loves her.
She has become as vital a member of our family, as she is in her own.
We love her for her gently guiding ways. We watch with joy as the new couple navigate their new life together. She has shared her family with him, and with us.
With her help he has grown into a confident teacher, a "handy" homeowner and a loving husband. She is a wonderful cook, and yet she encourages him to try. He can cook, clean -up, make wine, gut and rebuild a kitchen, work and play and still have time for family. I don't know how she does it! I 'm so grateful that she does. I am amazed at all they can do now.

We are all so happy that they found each other. What would our lives be like without her?
She has become a friend and sister to our daughter. She always wanted one. She is a sister in her own family, an aunt to two little nieces, a daughter and a grand-daughter.
She is the supreme ruler of a classroom full of children daily. She is, by all accounts an outstanding educator. She is a leader in her school community. Am I too excited and proud of our daughter-in law?
Great things come in very small packages!!!
